A bank agency established in downtown Kasserine was the victim of a robbery try on Sunday night, police sources told TAP agency.
Anonymous persons are assumed to have drilled a hole in the wall of an adjacent building to break into the agency.
The triggering of the bank alarm stopped them from carrying out their plan.
Security units were sent to the scene and an investigation was launched.
