Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, MP Khaled Krichi affirmed that the vaccines received by the Presidency of the Republic were made available to the military health services, which demonstrates the fact that the government and more specifically the Ministry of Health was not aware of the donation. Nevertheless, he called for better coordination between state institutions, asking the Presidency of the Republic to mention the date of receipt of the vaccines as well as the quantities received.
Concerning the crisis resulting from the cabinet reshuffle, krichi felt that the best way to settle the problem would be for Hichem Mechichi to step down and for the President of the Republic Kais Saied to select another person to replace him.
Commenting on the protests of Ennahdha and the PDL, the deputy estimated that the organization of this kind of event was unwelcome within the framework of the targeted lockdown, calling on the Ministry of the Interior to assume its responsibilities.
