Tunisia-Lotfi Mraïhi:All measures taken recently will not help to limit the spread of Coronavirus

During his presence on a program broadcasted today on a private radio, secretary general of the People’s Republican Union Party, Lotfi Mraïhi, assessed that all measures taken recently in Tunisia to limit the spread of the Coronavirus specifically: the closure of cafes and restaurants, the lifting of chairs and the application of the curfew are unnecessary.

“All these measures are unnecessary, they (Authorities) are depriving the people of their livelihood and fueling demonstrations and social movements,” he affirmed.

He pointed out that he is in favor of the application of targeted lockdown which is built on scientific studies for this aim, highlighting that what the closing decisions are simply a reproduction of the experiences of European nations which who do not have the same situation than Tunisia.
