Tunisia-Manouba records five new deaths from COVID-19

The governorate of Manouba recorded five new deaths from COVID-19 in the delegations of Jedeida, Tebourba and Oued Ellil, according to the local health administration .

The first fatality is 76-year-old elderly from Oued Ellil who passed away at his home in Balkabbaah. A second death was also reported after 53 year old died at Rabta hospital.

On the other hand,Jedeida delegation recorded 3 deaths, one of which is related to a 48-year-old man from Hathramine district, who died at Rabta  Hospital in the capital, the second death is an elderly woman born in 1944, a native of Mansoura, who died today in the aforementioned Hospital after it was confirmed that she was infected with the Coronavirus.

The same delegation also recorded the death of an elderly woman over the age of 70 in Charles Nicole Hospital, she is expected to be buried by Jedeida municipal agents who buried the first two fatalities in Hathramine and Mansoura.

In addition, Tebourba and Oued Ellil followed up with health agents in the Regional Health Administration the burial of the fatalities recorded in both delegations according to health protocols.

The death tally stands at 96 since the beginning of the pandemic. While infection tally rose to 1176  while recoveries hit 543.
