Angry farmers protested at the palace martyrs in the city centre of the governorate of Medenine against the decline of circumstances in the sector.

One of the demonstrators deplored the degradation of the sector, denouncing the shortages of food with small quantities that are not enough to support the herd. He further complained about the tenacity of the problems with ONAS since the water is discharged into the Oued, as well as the wild boar which destroys their fields and endangers the lives of their children with the shortage of ammonite. whose price has increased.
Farmers announced they were crying out for help from the authorities to protect the sector and support young farmers to continue producing instead of immigrating illegally. They stated they have organized a peaceful protest action to make their voices heard, ensuring that if their demands are not taken into account, they will escalate. The protests too complained about the rise in the prices of agricultural products which the prices have soared.
