The Minister of Agriculture, Mahmoud Elyes Hamza talked about the crisis of high fodder prices. He expressed that due to this important increase, the prices of several consumer products, including milk, eggs and poultry, will be “adjusted”. Adding that this was to secure a profit margin for the producer and maintain the sustainability of the system. The Minister considered that the Tunisian citizen/consumer comprehends the situation of the farmer.
