The Minister of Women, Family, Children and the Elderly, Amal Haj Moussa, revealed that 40 extra child protection delegates will be appointed, due to the increasing number of notifications received regarding children’s threats.
She clarified, on the sidelines of the opening of the Children’s Complex in Marsa, that during 2022, more than 22,000 opinions were obtained, 98% of which were taken care of.
The minister explained that it is not easy for a body which does not have more than 74 delegates to process more than 22,000 notifications.
