18،4% of Tunisians can’t read or write, remarked Minister of Social Affairs Mohamed Trabelsi in a statement to Shems FM.
Trabelsi deemed the problem to be unacceptable, particularly after so many years since the independence of Tunisia.
He further spoke about the revitalization of the National Centre for the Teaching adults, indicating that within the span of 6 or 7 years this figure can go down to 10%.
