A 52-year-old construction worker died when he fell from a height of 3 meters from a hotel in the process of restoration, announced Secretary-General of the Basic Union for Civil Protection Achref Ben Saied.
In a statement to Shems FM, he said that the worker was the victim of a work accident, as a wooden plank fell on his head, which resulted in the loss of his balance and his fall.
Civil protection transferred him to Fattouma Bourguiba hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
