According to Kairouan Mayor Radwan Boden, a sterilization campaign was carried out that included the Uqba bin Nafi Mosque, after investigations revealed that one of the infected attended the mosque. The campaign is awaited to extend to include a number of regional administrations.
It is reported that the supervisors of the Dandana School of Music in Kairouan sterilized the institution after confirming that one of its teachers was infected with the Coronavirus.
On the other hand, the regional health department took 18 samples for students and administration workers administrators in addition to subjecting them to self-quarantine.
