Former chief of staff of the President of the Republic Nadia Akacha was the victim, this Friday, April 29, 2022, of an audio leak which was massively shared on social networks.
In this audio leak, Akacha stated that the head of the state called her 3 times and that she rejected to answer his calls, emphasising that if she will speak, “an earthquake” reportedly occurred in Tunisia, calling Saied “cowardly”. “I swear he called me three times…I didn’t pick up…He’s likely still sleeping…Ichraf (his wife) woke him up to tell him that I caused chaos. The other is surely annihilated…”, she said.
She added she had not kissed the shoulders (in reference to Kais Saied), confirming that the head of state started to tremble when he saw French President Emmanuel Macron. “I did not put myself under the heels of foreign forces … I did not kiss Emmanuel Macron’s shoulder … He started to tremble when he saw him …”, she added.
Note that the former head of the presidential cabinet responded quickly following the publication of this recording, claiming on her official Facebook page that it was voice rigging.
