Tunisia-National consultation: More than 86% of Tunisians opt for a presidential regime

The Head of State, Kaïs Saïed met on the evening of Thursday, March 31, 2022, with prime minister Najla Bouden and the Minister of ICT Nizar Ben Néji, to deliver the results of the national consultation.

During this meeting, Nizar Ben Néji, said that the number of participants had reached 534,915, including 101,700 who had given answers in the space devoted to free expression, i.e. 20% of the participants. He likewise said that 86.4% had opted for a presidential system and 70.7% had chosen the voting method over individuals.
