The Tunisian General Union of Labor (UGTT) submitted, this Monday, December 21, its initiative for the launch of a national dialogue to the president of the House of the Representatives of the People Rached Ghannouchi, the TAP reported.
According to the UGTT, the solution of the prevailing crisis in the nation entails the establishment of a commission of elders under the supervision of President Kais Saied. This committee will be comprised of independent national figures in order to attain a consensus on the reformations which must be adopted at the political, economic and social level.
It should be remarked that the said initiative was presented on November 30 by the Secretary-General of the UGTT, Noureddine Tabboubi to the President of the Republic.
