The general secretary of the train drivers’ union, Mohamed Dridi, told Mosaïque FM that rail traffic was halted on all lines this morning, November 11. He affirmed that drivers are protesting about the state of the rail network which does not meet safety standards.
He additionally emphasised that this action has nothing to do with the arrest of a number of SNCFT employees against the backdrop of the train accident that happened a few weeks ago in Mégrine.
