Family members of a deceased covid patient at the covid unit at Fattouma Bourguiba University Hospital in Monastir assaulted staff working in the ward and vandalized it, destroying all material it contained.
The management of the hospital decided to shut down the department permanently and send covid patients to the departments of other hospitals in the region.
