The President of the Republic, Kais Saied arrived in Tunisia on February 18, 2022, after his participation in the 6th session of the EU-AU Summit held on February 17 and 18, 2022 in Brussels.
The head of the state saluted the flag to the sound of the national anthem and furthermore attended the parade of the formation of the three armies, who saluted him.
He was welcomed by prime minister Najla Bouden, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Othmen Jerandi, the Governor of Tunis, Kamel Feki, the Mayor of Tunis, Souad Abderahim and several members of the cabinet of the Presidency of the Republic.
