The customs guard brigade in Jmila of the governorate of Medenine managed to seize a sum of foreign currency, composed of 317,000 euros and 9,100 dollars, well hidden in a car bearing Tunisian license plates.
A statement from the General Directorate of Customs, published on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, said a patrol intercepted the car at regional road number 109.
A report was drawn up to this effect and the driver was brought to the prosecution under arrest, said the same source.
