Security handling of El Kamour didn’t aim to silence protests, But it was enforcement to preserve state institution to avoid chaos, said Prime Minister Elyes Fakhfakh.

Speaking at a plenary session at the House of People’s Representatives (HPR) on the results of the first 100 days of government action and the post-COVID-19 period programme, the PM said ” we are the children of protests, we will never allow suppressing peaceful protests and legitimate rights”, he added.

He stressed that the issue of vulnerable employment will end before the close of the government’s mandate, affirming that there is no room for stop-gap solutions, accenting the need to shift to actual reforms.
