Tunisia-President Kaies Saied meets with Ivorian President

President Kais Saied departed to France on Monday, May 17, to take part in the summit on the financing of African economies.

On the sidelines of this visit, he talked with the President of the Ivory Coast Al Hassane Ouattara.
The Ivorian president communicated his country’s wish to profit from the Tunisian experience in different fields, prominently the health sector through the development of collaboration in medicine and training Ivorian students in Tunisian universities, read a statement by the presidency of the republic.

President Ouattara at the same time invited investors in the private sector in Tunisia to come to Ivory Coast and explore the investment and partnership chances in this country, the same source said.

President Saied, for his part, stressed Tunisia’s readiness to strengthen partnership with Côte d’Ivoire in the health sector, especially with the prospect of creating a medical city for the Aghlabids in Kairouan. In this regard, he directed an official invitation to the Ivorian president to come and visit Tunisia.
The President of the Republic further praised the historic bilateral relationships between the two nations affirming the prospects of cooperation and partnership in various sectors.
