President Kais Saeid chaired a working session with the official participation of Caretaker Prime Minister Youssef Chahed, Interior Minister Hichem Fourati and high-level security officials.
The high-level meeting focused on the neutrality of the police institution and addressed preparations to counter emergencies.
The meeting also shed light on the law regulating the state of emergency and the necessity to review it, additionally, the meeting emphasised the need of raising the alert level to prevent road accidents and present the best circumstances for the return home of pupils and students for school and New Year holidays.
