| President Kais Saied met on Monday afternoon at the Carthage Palace with European Union’s ambassador in Tunis, Patrice Bergamini, at the end of his mission to Tunisia.
Kais Saied highlighted the exceptional relations between Tunisia and the European Union (EU), while underlining Tunisia’s willingness to strengthen the strategic partnership with the EU. For his part, the EU ambassador indicated that the meeting with the President of the Republic discussed several issues of common interest. Bergamini said he was convinced of Tunisia’s ability to move forward on the path of democracy and progress, the Presidency of the Republic said. |
