President Kais Saied received caretaker Prime Minister Youssef Chahed at Carthage presidential palace, the meeting discussed the country general situation, including the security and socio-economic situation.
The discussion focused on the most critical security hurdles in the battle against terrorism in addition to the economic and social situation, said Youssef Chahed after his meeting with the head of the state.
President Kais Saied urged the necessity to continue the government’s work until the new government assumes office,” Chahed added.
He added that he reassured the President of the Republic about the government team’s interest to maintain its work and guarantee the proper functioning of the public service.
