President of the Republic Kais Saied, on Tuesday, met Speaker of the House of People’s Representatives (HRP) Rached Ghannouchi at the Carthage Palace.
The meeting discussed the general situation in the country as well as the government formation process, said a Presidency statement.
Ghannouchi highlighted the President’s commitment to ending the transition period in Tunisia, in reference to the need to accelerate the government formation.
He informed the President of the outcome of his participation at the head of a Tunisian delegation in the 15th Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC) held in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
