In official correspondence dated May 18, 2022, the President of the Republic Kais Saïed offered his condolences to the entire Idriss family after the passing of businessman Mohamed Idriss at the age of 98 after a fight against the sickness.

The deceased was the founder of the Comptoir National du Plastique in 1958 and a shareholder in the airline Nouvelair. He was likewise the founder of the hotel chain “Marhaba Hotels”.
