President of the Republic Kais Saied held a phone call with World health organization”WHO” director-general, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
The conversation addressed the WHO role in fighting the coronavirus pandemic. The head of the state stressed the need to unify efforts on the global level as the adopted procedures have not achieved the goals that humanity aspire.
He further emphasised the WHO role and emphasized the necessity to transcend traditional frameworks toward news one and establish a legal framework at the level of the UN Security Council which will be a reference and a basis for uniting efforts as its indicated in the UN Charter.
