Speaking at Carthage presidential palace on Knowledge day, president of the republic Kais Saied declared Tunisia needs a real national education.
We need to build a society based on thinking,” he added. “In many countries, education is transformed into a guardian of the system, more than armed and organized forces.”
The head of the state further addressed that phenomenon of brains drains, considering that Tunisia is giving the European countries its greatest assets.
He also stressed the need to reform the educational system and take care of educators, saying, “In several countries, the best salaries are for educators and kindergarten workers.”
