Outcome of the voting for PM Elyes Fakhfekh government was honourable, said House speaker Rached Ghannouchi. Lawmakers voted 129 to 77 in favour of Fakhfakh’s team.
Ghannouchi stated that the result is distinguished despite political tensions, noting that receiving 60% of the vote in a democracy is honourable.
Politics in Tunisia is managed by political means, not by military and secret actions, he added.
