A person was kidnapped, then held captive by a group in a house located in the region of Regueb (governorate of Sidi Bouzid).
National Guard units in Regueb succeeded to “raid” this house and find the detainee. They likewise captured the owner and members of his family.
While searching the house, they discovered 16 plates of cannabis, 3 cartridges for 12 gauge shotguns and a sum of Libyan currency.
After further inquiry, the kidnapped person announced he was abducted by an Algerian and a Tunisian with a criminal record who struck him with a blunt weapon while forcing him to bring a financial sum.
