Tunisia-Resignation of 113 members of Ennahdha

No less than 113 members of Ennahdha party signed a statement declaring their resignation from the party, assuring that they were pressured into doing so, after failing to clean up the party leadership from the inside.

These resigners accuse, in fact, the current leadership of the party of having led it to the state of deterioration and isolation that it is currently undergoing at the national level and of assuming a large part of the responsibility for the deterioration of the general situation in the country, which paved the way for a putsch.

Among the main signatories of this collective resignation are  Samir Dilou, Abdellatif Makki and Mohamed Ben Salem, as well as many frozen deputies and members of the party’s Shura council.
