The President and CEO of the Rapid Rail Network (RFR), Lotfi Chouba, declared this Tuesday, April 23, 2024 that work on rail line D connecting Barcelona station to Gobâa through Bardou, is advancing quickly to complete the work as quickly as possible.
In an intervention on national radio, he disclosed that line D will enter service at the end of 2024, highlighting the necessity to accelerate the completion of the works due to their positive repercussions on road traffic and the traffic jams experienced roads.
Chouba revealed that the Barcelona – Gobâa line will significantly contribute to alleviating road congestion, particularly on Highway X.
The CEO believed that urban rail transport represents the future and is an effective way to solve transport problems, particularly in large cities.
