President of the Republic Kais Saied received on Thursday, December 7, 2023, Minister of National Defense at Carthage Palace. During the meeting, the Head of State reiterated the pride of the Tunisian people in the armed forces for their defence of the homeland, as well as their significant contributions in various areas such as health, transportation, securing elections, exams, and other fields.
On this occasion, the President of the Republic underscored the necessity to further develop the capabilities of our military forces and provide the best conditions for them to continue their national role in safeguarding the integrity of Tunisia and the resources of its people.
