President of the republic Kais Saied criticized the limited-term contracts which are normally renewed every three months, so that the employee has no right to assert and cannot do anything because he is in a hostage situation, confronting those who lowered him to slavery, in the name of a law in which the elementary rules of justice are flouted.
“Just as the employer has rights (…) Workers also have them and the State must not let anyone take away their right to a fair wage and stability in their career (…) assured Saied.
Note that these declarations come during his work meeting, on Monday at Carthage palace, with Lotfi Dhiab, Minister of Employment and Vocational Training, and Riadh Choud, Secretary of State in charge of community businesses.
