Kais Saïed, President of the Republic, approved yesterday Sunday, March 20, 2022, presidential decrees about penal conciliation, corporate citizens and the battle against speculation. He likewise chaired a Council of Ministers followed by a discourse on the occasion of the celebration of the 66th anniversary of independence, declared the Presidency of the Republic, this Monday, March 21, 2022, in a press release.
The Head of State remarked that the choice was made on the occasion of this milestone in the country’s history to examine the draft decrees of penal conciliation and the exploitation of its income, corporate citizens and the fight against speculation. For her part, prime minister Najla Bouden made a presentation on the economic and social situation in the nation and the principal measures taken to overcome the difficulties despite the restricted resources and the regional and international situation.
In a video published by the Presidency of the Republic, the President of the Republic reported that he initialled the three decrees on the same table used for the signing of the 1881 protectorate agreement.
