President of the republic Kais Saied reemphasised his view of the frozen parliament as a serious danger to the state. He pointed out during his meeting today, Friday, with officials of the Tunisian Professional Association of Banks and Financial Institutions, that Parliament continued in enacting laws that serve and protect the corrupt, and get bribes to pass a law and remove an article.
The head of the state said that some MPs have used parliamentary immunity to rob and mistreat the Tunisian people. Affirming that they shed “crocodile tears” when they appeared in the media to deceive Tunisians. “Your theatrical pieces no longer deceive the Tunisians”, he continued.
