Speaking to Shems FM, frozen MP Samia Abbou heavily criticized the new decisions declared this evening by the President of the Republic, Kais Saied. Abbou called the Head of State a “coward” and “deceitful” and moreover wondered about the feasibility of the suspension of the powers of the Parliament when he could have dissolved it.
She further said that anyone who turns against the constitution loses legitimacy, emphasising that constitutions are not a game. She added that Tunisia has now become “the State of the President”.
