Taïeb Laâguili declared on his Facebook page that, opposite to what had been announced, his brother Samir Bettaïeb has not been released. He revealed that the investigating judge was persuaded of his brother’s innocence after studying the report from the state procurement control body and that is why he decided to release him momentarily.
However, immediately, the prosecution appealed against this decision. Laâguili added that in this way it became apparent that the Samir Bettaïeb affair is a political affair par excellence.
