The National Water Exploitation and Distribution Company (SONEDE) declared the death of agent Faouzi Chaieb after an assault.
Remarking that the agent was monitoring the Zeramdine works unit under the governorate of Monastir, Sonede stated the deceased was held up by unknown individuals.
According to the same source, the latter was beaten while he was on a mission to examine the wells and pumping stations located in El Amirate.
Denouncing this act of violence, Sonede added that Faouzi Chaieb was taken to Jammel hospital before his passing.
