National Water Distribution Utility announced that unknown persons have attacked the main pumping station that supplies Menara tanks in the governorate of Gabes during the night between Monday 13 and Tuesday 14 July 2020.
The SONEDE explained that the saboteurs destroyed and damaged the electrical equipment, which would result in a disturbance and interruption in the supply of water starting 10:00 am of Tuesday in the regions of the southern Gabes delegation.
Reparation work is currently underway,water supplies will resume as soon as it finished.
