During a press conference on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, Director General of Health Faisal Ben Salah hinted that the number of deaths was expected to multiply by the end of the year.
He explained in this sense that his department is currently looking at strengthening the hospital system. He added that the number of beds equipped with oxygen will be increased from 350 to 1,000 within a fortnight.
