Officers from the Hammam Sousse police station, as part of the battle against the phenomenon of drug trafficking, were able, after obtaining information, to apprehend an elderly man from a neighbouring country who was promoting narcotic tablets.
During a search of his home located in the tourist area, 5,386 narcotics tablets and large sums of money in Tunisian and foreign currencies were seized.
The public prosecutor authorized his arrest.
