SNCFT announced in a press release that a train derailment transpired near the Tunis station on January 20, 2021.

According to the same source, no material or human damage were registered and train movement resumed its normal course the same day. Nevertheless, rail traffic will be disrupted today on the Tunis-Erriyadh line.
