Tahya Tounes party spokeswoman Hela Omran condemned the violence committed against some MPs, including Mustafa Ben Ahmed.
She said that the violence was not simply verbal and that the member for Tahya Tounes has been the victim of physical violence, indicating that Ben Ahmed was struck while he was trying to “calm the spirits during a confrontation between deputies ”.
Omran also communicated the party’s intention to take legal action against Al Karama MP Abdellatif Aloui, the perpetrator of the attack.
