Mr Thabet was found in his car inside a hole approximately five meters deep (submerged in water) in a deserted area between the National Road No. 9 (the level of transformer works) and the area known as “Lac zéro”, particularly behind the headquarters of a building for automatic surveillance of the Tunisian Company of Electricity and Gas.
The area that cannot be accessed via paved roads nor does it witness pedestrians or cars, and is circled by a water canal that has concrete barriers, reads a statement by the department.
