The governorate of Tozeur has reported one more loss from coronavirus, bringing the death tally to 8 since the start of the pandemic.
The deceased is 65 years old from El Hamma of Jerid, local health director in Tozeur Nabih Thabet told the TAP agency.
In addition, 35 more contaminations have been recorded in the governorate where the total number of infected people has climbed to 523.
The majority of the new positive cases were recorded in Tozeur city (34 cases). Among these patients, 9 are students living in the university residence of Tozeur, according to the same source.
