Tunisia has reported 2 new cases of COVID-19 on May 22, bringing the total of infections to 1048, announced the health ministry in a declaration today. The death toll is stable at 47 while recoveries jumped to 903 since the beginning of the outbreak.

- Manouba: 40 cases
- Nabeul: 15 cases
- Zaghouan: 3 cases
- Bizerte: 26 cases
- Beja: 4 cases
- Jandouba:1
- Le Kef: 8 cases
- Sousse: 85 cases (+1 imported case)
- Siliana:4
- Monastir: 41 cases
- Mahdia: 19 cases
- Sfax: 37 cases
- Kairouan: 8 cases
- Kasserine: 9 cases
- Sidi Bouzid: 8 cases
- Gabes: 23 cases
- Medenine: 90 cases
- Tataouine: 36 cases
- Gafsa: 47 cases
- Tozeur:5 case
