The World Tourism Organization promptly elected Tunisia as an executive member during its general session in Saint Petersburg Russia.
Selected among 11 African countries Tunisia will be properly serving a four-year term. The Tunisian delegation was headed by Rene Trabelsi, Minister of Tourism and Handicraft.
