Tunisia is placed via its Startup Act, 23rd out of about thirty countries at the forefront of digital and 1st in Africa and Middle East region, according to the Startups Without Borders which has issued its Startup Visa Programs Attractiveness index.
The Ministry of Communication Technologies, announced that once over, the “Startup Act is proving its distinctness internationally and this after acquiring the award for the best programme in the category “suitable business climate” at the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS ) forum of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU ).
“These are the result of Tunisia’s dedication and the role of the Startup Act in developing innovative entrepreneurship, consequently cultivating a better relationship with the national and international entrepreneurial ecosystem”.
Until September 2020, 338 startups have been designated under the Startup Tunisia programme.
The Startups Without Borders company specialises in events. It attaches the most ambitious refugee and migrant entrepreneurs with resources to develop their business.
