Tunisian Internet activist, blogger and assistant lecturer in linguistics at Tunis University Lina Ben Mhenni has passed away.
Ben Mhenni has been awarded the Deutsche Wells International Blog Award, the El Mundo’s International Journalism Prize and received a nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2011.
During the revolution ,her blog had become an important source of information for both Tunisians and the international media.
