Spain has chosen to drop Tunisia from the list of safe countries for travel, on the recommendation of the EU Council. Consequently, Tunisians can no longer enter Spain.
Canada and Georgia are also removed from this list. Nationals of these 3 countries can no longer enter Spain for non-essential reasons.
Who can still enter Spain from Tunisia?
The travellers who can enter from Tunisia on Spanish soil are:
- European citizens
- residents in a country of the EU or the Schengen area
- holders of a long-stay visa issued by an EU country
- staff performing essential activities
- students
- people travelling for family reasons.
