The citizens of Agareb held a symbolic demonstration tonight, November 22, 2021, to reveal the true causes o the death of Mr Lacheb during a nightly protest to prevent the reopening of the El Gonna landfill.
Tunisie Numerique correspondent in the region indicated the appearance of two eyewitnesses in court in relationship with this case, asserting that this symbolic protest stand will be held every two days by the inhabitants till the truth is discovered and remove all suspicion.
“Those present at this stand today are victims of pollution… They will bear witness to the injustice and wrongs they experienced in this city. A city that endured for 14 years and waited for the state to resolve its problems. Nevertheless, the state wants to reopen the landfill! It will not .. never open its doors! ”said one of the protesters.
